Eric Awich Ochen, PhD

Eric Awich Ochen completed his doctoral studies at the Centre for Applied Childhood Studies in the School of Human and Health Sciences, University of Huddersfield, an M.Sc. in Development and Project Planning from the University of Bradford, and a Bachelor’s in Social Work and Social Administration at Makerere University. Eric is a lecturer in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration at Makerere University, and has previously worked with Save the Children Denmark, Gulu Support for the Children Organization and Community Development Resource Network. He has also consulted for several development agencies in the areas of evaluation and project development and has authored several peer reviewed articles on children in conflict situations.
