Daniel Lumonya, PhD
IRIA Regional and Kenya Country Director
Daniel Lumonya served as Regional Dean for the School for International Training’s Africa Portfolio from August 2015 to December 2019, and as Associate Dean from August 2022 to December 2023. Daniel has worked in several African countries including long periods in Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya and Tanzania, with several working trips to South Africa, Madagascar, Senegal, Cameroon, Ghana and Ethiopia. He has attended several workshops and trainings on international education and cross-cultural competency training, including facilitating cross cultural programs for over 25 years. Daniel has exceptional team building and organizational and human resource management knowledge and skills and a strong passion for local community development, demonstratable through the work he has done with rural communities in rural Busia Uganda, Kisumu in Kenya and Northern Tanzania.
